Keith Krenz
As an engineer (industrial and systems engineering), Mr. Krenz takes a “systems engineering” view regarding most business challenges. During the early stages of his career, Mr. Krenz focused on applying advance computer simulation and optimization technology to traditional industrial and business environments. In 1983 Mr. Krenz joined Lehigh University to develop and lead its Manufacturing Systems Engineering research program. In early 1987, Mr. Krenz launched an independent for profit industrial research and engineering firm grounded on the results of his work at Lehigh University. Mr. Krenz formally stepped down from his Lehigh University position in 1990 to focus exclusively on his company (Technology Systems Corporation - TSC). TSC took on some of the most challenging business issues of the day conducting advanced business and engineering projects in the automotive, pharmaceutical, construction equipment, aerospace, consumer appliance, light metals, plastics, and industrial electronics sectors throughout North America, Europe and South America.
Mr. Krenz retired from active management of his firm in 2001 while staying on as vice chairman and member of the board of directors through 2004. One of the results of his seventeen years at Technology Systems Corporation was the development of an advanced business management methodology called Market-Cash-Capacity-Speed (MCCS).
Since retiring from TSC Mr. Krenz has helped launch a radio frequency identification (RFID) company, supported various company acquisition and divestiture efforts, sits on the board of directors and advisory boards of various companies and consults to companies internationally (Compass Technology Management, Inc.). However, most notable during this time period has been the establishment of Mr. Krenz’s partnership with Brian Middleton, the development of the Teleos Business Succession Process, and the launch of Teleos Partners.
